Zakira Beasley Sweep the Heart, Polish the Mirror . . . Experience the Divine Presence in Life August 24-26 2 Nights $120 ($60 deposit) Dana "Go sweep out the chamber of your heart. Make it ready to be the dwelling place of the Beloved." Mahmud Shabistari, In the beautiful and peaceful setting of Southern Dharma we remember to come back to ourself, our true self, and celebrate the reflections of beauty, harmony and love we experience. We will "sweep the heart" and "polish the mirror" to welcome the experience of the Divine Presence. Through meditation and simple sacred practices with sound, breath and movement, we re-orient our attention to fulfill the promise of the Qur’an "Wheresoever you turn, there is the face of Allah". This short retreat will have opportunities for sharing and time to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature surrounding us. No experience necessary, everyone is welcome.
