- There are four ways to register:

- Print out the registration form and mail that in with your deposit.
- Fill in the form on the reverse side of the Southern Dharma printed brochure and mail it in with your deposit.
- Register by phone at 828-622-7112.
- The retreat fee of $65 per night includes meals and lodging in shared rooms, the dormitory, or at a tent site. Dana is encouraged for teachers and SDRC.
- The balance of your retreat fee is due upon arrival. We accept checks, Visa, MasterCard, and cash. Cash or checks save SDRC about 4% in bank processing fees.
- Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel, please do so as soon as possible so that others may register in your place. If you cancel more than 30 days before the retreat begins, we will refund your deposit minus a $35 registration fee. If you cancel within 30 days of the retreat start date, you will forfeit your entire deposit.
- Switching to a Different Retreat: SDRC will charge you a non-refundable $35 fee to switch your registration to a different retreat. While switches can be made within 30 days of the retreat start date, we encourage you to make the registration change as early as possible.
- Scholarships: To apply for a scholarship, first read the paragraph about scholarships on the front page under General Information. Then check the scholarship box on your registration form and submit the form with your $35 scholarship registration fee.
- Confirmation and driving directions will be sent by email or USPS within 3 days of our receiving your registration form.
- Meals are vegetarian with vegan options. SDRC can not accommodate special dietary requests and encourages those with food allergies or special needs to bring their own food, which may be stored in the center’s refrigerators.
- Retreats begin with orientation at 6:30 pm and end with the noon meal on the last day. You may check in any time after 2:00 pm. Plan to arrive before 6:00 to settle in, and before dark. If late arrival is unavoidable, please contact us.
- Rides to and from the Asheville Airport can usually be arranged with either a local volunteer or SDRC providing transportation. In the latter case, we will ask you to pay a $60-fee to cover SDRC’s costs for gasoline and staff time.
