Sandy Gentei Stewart Seven Days of Zen Practice September 10-17 7 nights $455 ($225 deposit) Dana We will arise at 5:30 each morning, have tea, chanting, walking, sitting and a chance for an interview with the teacher until breakfast. After breakfast break, we will have a work period and short sitting until lunch. After lunch break, we will have tea, chanting, walking, sitting and interviews plus a dharma talk/discussion until supper. After supper break, we will chant, sit, walk and interview until closing at about 9. All meals except the first and last will be in silence and in a formal, Zen style. Although the full schedule will go from 5 AM to 9 PM with rest periods after meals, you will be able to participate according to your needs. Part-timers are welcome, although registration preference will be given to full-timers. Gentei is a Zen osho (abbot and teacher), and has studied mostly with Joshu Roshi of Rinzai-ji. He began his practice in 1967. Since 1977, he has been the osho at the North Carolina Zen Center near Pittsboro, North Carolina.
