Abiding in Emptiness: Relaxing the Mind; Opening the Heart
August 21 - 28, 2020
This seven-night Vipassana retreat will be held in Noble Silence. Although there will be periods of discussion and Q&A, the majority of the retreat will be silent. During the retreat, we will refine our mindfulness of experience as a path of practice for entering into the spacious, empty nature mind as instructed by the Buddha in the Pali discourses, and also as taught by other teachers. Prior jhana experience is welcome but is not necessary. Mary will offer instructions, dharma talks, and interviews. Each day will include periods of sitting meditation, walking meditation, lovingkindness meditation, and Q&A. This retreat is for experienced meditators who have attended at least two prior seven-day residential silent meditation retreats.
