EARLY SPRING WORK-WEEKEND RETREAT

Join with the staff to help in a variety of tasks related to readying Southern Dharma for the 2010 retreat season. Projects may include yard work, road maintenance, wood gathering, log splitting, painting, spring cleaning in the lodge, working in the kitchen, and whatever else needs doing.

This will be a silent retreat with scheduled times for working meditation and sitting meditation. For beginners, there will be instruction in sitting meditation and mindfulness while working.

There will be ample free time for enjoying the beauty of Southern Dharma in the spring, as well as the resources of our library. And, of course, Southern Dharma will provide delicious meals.

Please be sure to bring outdoor work clothes, work shoes, work gloves (if you have them), and rain gear.
