At Home Retreat – Greater “Resilience” During Chaotic Times
June 17 - 21, 2020
As this global pandemic upends our way of life and brings increased challenges in every domain, navigating these chaotic changes require increased reserves of “resilience”.
Join Buddhist teacher – Ronya Banks for this at-home retreat, wherein she will offer wisdom teachings you can apply to develop greater “inner resilience” – the resiliency that is always needed, especially during chaotic times, and which opens the door to enhanced levels of inner peace and joy.
During this retreat, you will also have the opportunity to transform your living quarters into a sacred space that invites deep practice, with an emphasis on integrating these practices into your daily lives.
Some of the things that will be covered include:
What is resilience and how to deepen your practice to support its development?
Buddhist teachings on resilience and deep practice.
Inquiries that will support greater depth and wisdom.
During this retreat, you will be provided with instructions and the support needed to engage in the ancient Buddhist Vipassana/Insight meditation practices that have brought profound “inner peace” to multitudes of people.
The Southern Dharma Retreat Center will be hosting and supporting this retreat with the professionalism with which we are accustomed, while also transmitting their solitude and beauty to us right through cyber space.
This meditation retreat’s schedule will include formal sitting meditation, walking meditation, daily dharma talks, specific instructions, guided mindful movement, group interviews, and chanting.
This retreat is appropriate for those who have attended a previous silent meditation retreat, as well as experienced daily meditation practitioners. It is perfect for all people on the spiritual path who are committed to bringing greater peace, and wisdom to their own and others’ lives.
